AMURIKAH

July 4th is less than a month away people. While everyone gets their plans together, or not, I will provide you with some trailer trash patriotic inspired awesomness for you to rock this holiday. Cause nothing says you love your country more than the flag all over your wardrobe.

GOD BLESS AMURIKAH! (That's America in a country accent for y'all)

My friends, welcome back to TPG. I have been on an unexcusable leave of absence. My Spring Semester was a rough one, and now I'm free (somewhat) due to summer. Although I will be interning 40 hours a week at a big time firm (don't worry, it's paid) I have decided to make time for my signifcant other, being this blog.

Keep up with me and all the new crap I'm obsessing over and/or possibly contemplating suicide over.

Love all you Angels

Summer tunes

We posted about Cris Cab and his cover of Kanye's 'All of The Lights'. Cris, an 18 year old fellow Miami native, is currently on the rise to fame with his signature reggae. He just released the newest of his viral videos to his original single 'Good Girls'. Needless to say, this song will definitely be on my summer playlist as I stick around DC for the summer and reminisce over Miami.

So great to see young talent coming from home. Definitely see him going places!

Also check out some sweet press he's already getting from a huge name like Billboard.com

Here's the vid:

More H&M Spring 2011

More editorial footage from H&M's Spring Magazine. Seriously cannot wait to go shopping this weekend.

This spread features Jaquelyn Jablonski.

Poncho looks a lot like the Band of Outsiders one from NYFW. I'll take it!

I have that sweater. Needless to say I'll be getting those shorts.

Ultra Musical Festival 2011

So remember when I posted about SXSW street style? No? Ok...

Well my intention was to begin covering fashion or street style seen at these music festivals, and the next one being Ultra held in Miami. Then I remembered Ultra is when most people get the chance to raid American Apparel's neon section and put on glitter, headbands, and dress like cracked out fairies. Not hating, but really, most people wouldn't actually go out like that in public. Key word, most people.

So0o0o because of that, I couldn't find any material to post here. Luckily my people at GQ posted a short album of Ultra and some pictures of DJ's at work, the scene, and parties that go along with Ultra. I thought they were cool so of course I'm sharing with you:

You can "officially" wear white again...

Now that it's Spring time, the rules say we can start wearing white again. Funny how some people have never heard of winter white....but in any case, H&M has unveiled their newest editorial for their Spring 2011 magazine entitled 'Shades of White'. Edita Vikeviciute models some new looks from the Swedish megastore Spring lookbook. Needless to say once I get paid again, I'll be hitting up H&M. So glad there is one in DC, sorry Miami you guys have to wait... heheheheh
